The University Club offers a wide variety of services and amenities for our members. In addition to our dining services, private functions can be arranged to meet your business, social and entertainment needs. Our clubhouse offers several rooms and flexibility to accommodate events from small meetings to weddings and other special celebrations. Within the clubhouse, we also offer guest rooms for overnight visiting members and sponsored guests. Our athletic facility houses the finest squash facility in Northern California, and our reciprocal club list has swelled to more than 230 clubs around the world. And last but not least, our members enjoy a variety of social activities that the club sponsors to build a community within the club. Befitting a club with a 120 year old tradition, the dress code is business casual. T-Shirts, shorts, hats and athletic wear are not permitted on the 3rd or 4th floor of the Clubhouse. Designer jeans are acceptable. Dress code is not mandatory in the lobby and in the athletic facility.
By what is appropriate to the season and in good taste. For gentlemen this means collared shirt, casual dress trousers, appropriate sweaters, men's casual shoes (coat and tie optional). Women may wear casual skirts and pants.
The House Rules prohibit the wearing of T-Shirts, tank tops, shorts of any type, beach sandals, athletic shoes and athletic clothing. |
