  Getting to the Club

The University Club is conveniently located in the heart of San Francisco, a few blocks away from Union Square and the Financial  District, atop of Nob Hill.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
There are many ways to get to the Club via Public Transportation.
BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit): Take Bart to Powell Street Station, which is six blocks South of the club.  From there you can take the Powell Cable Car line straight up the six blocks, or walk up to California.
Cable Car:  Both the Powell and California lines meet on our corner; the Powell starts downtown below Union Square and goes to Fisherman's Wharf, while the California  line runs from the Financial District to Van Ness Avenue.
Bus: The California line (#1) runs along Sacramento, which stops one block behind us at Sacramento and Powell.
